Homecoming weekend in Murray never disappoints, and this year’s festivities brought together decades of Zeta Lambda tradition. The celebration reconnected generations of Brothers. From the annual general meeting to Main Street and Stewart Stadium, the weekend was a showcase of brotherhood in action.
Annual Alumni & Chapter General Meeting
The weekend’s official business kicked off at the chapter house with our annual general meeting. Leaders shared updates on chapter academics, philanthropic efforts, and campus involvement. The active Brothers also recognized Brother Steve Farmer with the Alumni Appreciation Award for 2026. Meanwhile, alumni leadership addressed ongoing initiatives, including scholarship endowments and long-term facility plans. This meeting served as a valuable forum to see how the chapter continues to grow. It showed how we stay grounded in the core values established when Zeta Lambda was founded at Murray State in 1959.
The Homecoming Parade
Saturday morning, Brothers gathered along Main Street to support the chapter in the annual Murray State Homecoming Parade. Active Brothers and candidates represented ATO with pride. They were joined by visiting alumni, families, and friends. Seeing the letters roll down the parade route remains one of the best traditions of the weekend. As a result, it set an energetic tone for the rest of game day.
Tent City & Game Day
Following the parade, the action shifted to Stewart Stadium for Murray State’s signature Tent City. The ATO tent quickly became central station for returning alumni, active members, and guests.
Old stories were swapped, new introductions were made, and generations of Brothers—spanning over six decades—shared food, drinks, and memories. Whether you were catching up with pledge brothers you haven’t seen in years or meeting the newest pledge class, Tent City once again proved that the bonds of Zeta Lambda extend well beyond graduation.
A sincere thank-you goes out to all the active Brothers, alumni volunteers, and Housing Corporation members who put in the work behind the scenes to make this weekend run smoothly.
