The Legend of the Rayburn Lunches: More Guys, More Cities, More Fun

Legend of the Rayburn Lunches

Let’s talk about lunches. More specifically, Rayburn lunches.

For a few years now, Billy Joe Rayburn has been the mastermind behind an ongoing ATO tradition. What started as a quick bite with a few guys has turned into an epic, ever-expanding text thread and a calendar highlight for brothers across the region.

Expanding the Menu (and the Map)

It all kicked off in Murray with a handful of local guys grabbing a table at The Big Apple. But Billy Joe kept adding names to the text stream, and we’ve officially outgrown town lines.

We’ve taken this show on the road, hitting up some legendary spots across the map. Our current rotation includes:

  • The Big Apple (Murray)
  • The Keg (Fulton)
  • Four Little Pigs (Benton)
  • Moonlight BBQ (Owensboro)
  • LL’s (Paris)
  • Broussard’s (Paducah)

And we’re not stopping there—word is Billy Joe is currently scouting spots for an upcoming lunch in either Sikeston or Cape Girardeau! No matter the zip code, the result is always the same: great food, terrible jokes, and unmatched brotherhood.

The (Un)Official Schedule

If you know Billy Joe, you know we aren’t running on corporate time here. But generally, here is how the Rayburn Lunches operate:

  • The Season: They run hot all summer long, typically every other week, and skip most of the freezing winter months.
  • The Day: Always on Fridays.
  • The Notice: There isn’t a rigid, set-in-stone calendar, but we will always give you a few days’ heads-up so you can clear your schedule.

Lock in for the Next One!

Billy Joe and the regular lunch crew have a blast, but we want to see more of you there. The more guys we get, the better the stories get.

To make it easier for everyone to plan ahead, we are going to start officially announcing the dates, places, and times right here on the website before each lunch.

Stay Tuned: We’ll post the exact details as soon as the next date is locked in. Make sure to check back, look out for the notice, and come grab a seat at the table!
