Scholarships Awarded for 2022-2023

Scholarships awarded for 2022-2023 were announced to the winners earlier this week by Brothers Alan Stout and Kirby Rhines.

Our scholarship fund started in 2010 literally with a few thousand dollars and has built up an endowment over $130,000. It has to be endowed for us to award 4% and we plan to keep growing it bigger and bigger.  Our goal is every ATO who has applied will eventually get one, and we have made that happen. We have granted 60+ scholarships since 2011.

Criteria to Receive an ATO Scholarship

We strive to provide to all who apply, but below are the general guidelines:

  1. Awarded to active members of ATO Chapter enrolled as full time students at Murray State University
  2. Administered by MSU Foundation in Consultation with the Scholarship Committee appointed by the Murray ATO Housing Corporation/Alumni Chapter
  3. Initial Criteria includes a GPA that is required to be an active ATO with consideration for other campus activities, ATO involvement, have not received before and need

As an alumnus this fund is one of the things we are most proud of. We would love to see it grow over a million in our lifetime so every ATO deserving will get it multiple times.
